Iran no longer changes its clocks and neither does T\u00fcrkiye, so it never varies.<\/td><\/tr>\n        <tr><th>Money<\/th><td><b>Cash.<\/b> See the section below \u2014 this is the part that matters most and the part every other website skips.<\/td><\/tr>\n        <tr><th>Best months<\/th><td><b>April\u2013June<\/b> and <b>September\u2013October<\/b>. Nowruz and the summer weeks are the busiest \u2014 and the most expensive \u2014 so book months ahead for those.<\/td><\/tr>\n      <\/table>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"sec sec-sand\">\n  <div class=\"wrap\">\n    <p class=\"eyebrow\">Payment \u2014 read this first<\/p>\n    <h2>Your Iranian bank card will not work in T\u00fcrkiye.<\/h2>\n    <p class=\"lead\">Not at hotels, not at restaurants, not at cash machines. This is not a\n       T\u00fcrkiye-specific rule and there is no workaround we can offer \u2014 it is simply how it is,\n       and the whole trip has to be planned around it.<\/p>\n\n    <div class=\"g3\">\n      <div class=\"card\">\n        <div class=\"ico\">\ud83d\udcb5<\/div>\n        <h3>Bring cash<\/h3>\n        <p>US dollars or euro. Budget for the entire trip \u2014 hotel, transport, meals, shopping and\n           a margin \u2014 not just spending money.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"card\">\n        <div class=\"ico\">\ud83c\udfe6<\/div>\n        <h3>Change it here<\/h3>\n        <p>Exchange offices in \u0130stanbul give a better rate than the airport or the border. We will\n           point you to reputable ones rather than the first sign you see.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"card\">\n        <div class=\"ico\">\ud83e\uddfe<\/div>\n        <h3>Declare large amounts<\/h3>\n        <p>There are legal limits on how much cash you may carry across a border without\n           declaring it, in both directions. Check the current thresholds before you fly \u2014\n           this is not something to improvise at customs.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"note\">\n      <p><b>Why this makes an agency worth using here more than anywhere else:<\/b> if we hold the\n         hotel, the transfers and the tours in advance, you carry far less cash and you are not\n         standing at a reception desk at midnight trying to pay for a week in banknotes.\n         That is a genuine reduction in risk, not a sales line.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"sec\">\n  <div class=\"wrap\">\n    <p class=\"eyebrow\">Language<\/p>\n    <h2>It depends who is travelling.<\/h2>\n    <p class=\"lead\">This is worth being precise about, because assuming it will be fine is how\n       people end up nodding through a medical appointment they did not follow.<\/p>\n\n    <ul class=\"inc\">\n      <li><b>From Tabriz and the northwest<\/b><span>Azerbaijani Turkish is very close to Turkish. Most visitors from this region manage easily.<\/span><\/li>\n      <li><b>Persian speakers<\/b><span>Persian is not a Turkic language and shares almost nothing with Turkish. Expect to need help.<\/span><\/li>\n      <li><b>Where it matters<\/b><span>Hospital appointments, contracts, anything you sign. The road journey is very long.
