Being honest with you
You could book most of this yourself. Here is when you should not.
You speak the language, the flight is three hours and you probably have friends who have done it. For a weekend in İstanbul, book it yourself — we will not pretend otherwise.

İstanbul, Cappadocia and the coast in ten days involves internal flights, transfers and timing that is easy to get slightly wrong and expensive to fix.

İstanbul weekend
Three hours out on Friday, back Sunday. Shopping, food, the Bosphorus. The most common trip on this route by a long way.

A major reason Azerbaijani visitors come. Language is not the obstacle here — logistics and timing are, and that is the part we handle.
Summer on the coast
Antalya or Bodrum for a week or two with the family, often with an İstanbul stop on the way home.

Before you write
Can I travel with my ID card instead of a passport?
On many routes yes, but airline policy can be stricter than the border rule and it also depends on your onward plans. Check with the airline, and tell us — we will confirm before you book anything.
How long can I stay?
There is a limit per 180-day period. If you travel to Türkiye frequently, those days add up faster than people expect. Send us your recent travel dates and we will work it out with you.
Do I need travel insurance if it is so close?
Yes. Distance has nothing to do with what a hospital bill costs. It is inexpensive and should include repatriation.
Will my Azerbaijani driving licence work?
For short visits, generally yes. Whether you want to drive in İstanbul is another matter — most visitors take a driver and enjoy the trip more.
