1. Who we are

These terms are between you (the "customer") and MOC Health Sağlık Turizm, the trading name of Bookinhospital.com Danışmanlık ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a company registered in Türkiye, which operates this website as MOC Travel.

  • Travel Agency Operating Licence: A-group, no. 13801, issued by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism under Law no. 1618. Held since 26 January 2022.
  • Registered office: Şirinevler Mah. Meriç Sok. Toyak İş Merkezi No: 11, İç Kapı No: 612, Bahçelievler, İstanbul, Türkiye
  • MERSİS: 0179135604700001 · İstanbul Chamber of Commerce: 318951-5
  • Contact: +90 533 813 89 77 · info@moctravel.com

You can verify our licence at any time at online.tursab.org.tr by entering licence number 13801. We encourage you to do so.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to travel services we arrange for you — flights, accommodation, airport transfers, tours, guides, interpreters and related arrangements — whether booked individually or together.

Where we arrange a service that is delivered by someone else (an airline, a hotel, a transport company, a guide), that supplier's own conditions also apply to you. Where those conditions are relevant to your decision — for example a non-refundable airline ticket — we state them in your written quote before you pay.

3. How a booking is made

  1. You send an enquiry by WhatsApp, email or telephone. This costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
  2. We send a written quote setting out the services, the total price, the currency, the payment schedule and the cancellation terms that apply to each element.
  3. You accept the quote in writing — a reply by email or WhatsApp is sufficient.
  4. You pay the deposit. A booking becomes binding on both of us only when we have received the deposit and sent you a written confirmation.

Nothing is booked until you have paid and we have confirmed in writing. Until then, prices and availability can change — particularly for flights, where fares move daily. If a price changes between quote and payment, we will tell you before taking any money.

4. Prices and currency

We quote in euro (EUR), US dollars (USD) or pounds sterling (GBP). The currency will be stated on your quote.

The total on your written quote is fixed. Once you have accepted it and paid the deposit, we will not increase it because of currency movements, supplier price rises or fuel costs. That risk is ours, not yours.

Prices may only change if you change the booking (see section 7), or if a public authority introduces a new tax or charge that we are legally obliged to pass on. In that case we will show you the official basis for the change, and you may cancel without penalty if you do not accept it.

5. Payment

5.1 Deposit and balance

  • A deposit of 50% of the total is payable to confirm the booking.
  • The balance is due no later than 21 days before the start of your travel.
  • If you book within 21 days of travel, the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
  • Some elements — most commonly airline tickets — must be paid in full at the time of booking because the airline requires immediate payment. Where this applies, it is stated on your quote.

5.2 How you can pay

  • Bank transfer to the company account shown on your quote or invoice.
  • Credit or debit card, through a secure payment page provided by our bank. We do not see, handle or store your card details at any point.
  • Cash, at our office or on arrival, where the service allows it — commonly transfers and tours.

What will appear on your card statement or bank record. MOC Travel is the trading name of Bookinhospital.com Danışmanlık ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., which is the licensed company behind this agency. Payments are therefore taken by, and invoiced from, that company — so the entry on your statement may read BOOKINHOSPITAL rather than MOC Travel. This is us. It is the same company and the same licence (no. 13801). Please do not report it as an unrecognised transaction — telephone us instead on +90 533 813 89 77 and we will confirm it within a minute.

Only ever pay into an account in the name of our companyBookinhospital.com Danışmanlık ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. We will never ask you to send money to a personal account, to a third party, or through a money-transfer service. If anyone claiming to be us asks you to, stop and telephone us on +90 533 813 89 77.

5.3 Late payment

If the balance is not received by the due date, we will contact you before doing anything else. If it remains unpaid, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you, and the cancellation terms in section 8 will apply.

6. What is and is not included

Your quote lists exactly what is included. Unless it says otherwise, the following are not included:

  • Visa fees, where a visa is required
  • Travel insurance
  • Meals not specified
  • Personal expenses, tips and optional excursions
  • Medical treatment and anything connected with it
  • Excess baggage charges

7. Changes you ask for

Tell us as early as you can and we will do what we can. Some changes are free; others cost money because the airline or hotel charges us. We will always tell you the cost before making any change, and you can decide then.

Name changes on airline tickets are usually treated by airlines as a new booking. Please check that the names you give us match your passports exactly.

8. If you cancel

Tell us in writing — email or WhatsApp is fine. The date we receive your message is the cancellation date.

What you get back depends on the cancellation terms of each supplier, and those terms are written into your quote before you pay. They differ enormously: a hotel room may be fully refundable until a few days before arrival, while a discounted airline ticket may be non-refundable from the moment it is issued.

We do not publish a single cancellation table, because doing so would be misleading. We would rather show you the real terms for your actual booking, in advance, in writing.

Where we are able to recover money from a supplier, we pass it back to you. We deduct only the costs we cannot recover, plus any transfer or card processing fees actually incurred. We will show you the breakdown.

Read the cancellation lines on your quote before you pay. They are the part of the document that matters most, and they are the reason we put them in writing rather than burying them in a link.

9. If we cancel or change

We will not cancel your booking for commercial reasons once it is confirmed.

If a supplier makes a significant change — an airline reschedules, a hotel closes — we will tell you as soon as we know and offer you a comparable alternative, or a full refund of the affected element, whichever you prefer.

If we have to cancel for a reason within our control, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid us.

10. Events beyond anyone's control

Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform because of events that could not reasonably be foreseen or avoided — including natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, airspace closures and decisions of public authorities.

If such an event prevents your trip, we will refund whatever we can recover from suppliers, and we will help you claim the rest from your insurer. We will not profit from the situation, and we will show you what we received and what we passed on.

11. Passports, visas and entry

It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport and any visa or permit required for your journey, and to meet the entry requirements of Türkiye and of any country you transit.

We will tell you what we understand the current requirements to be for your nationality, and we confirm them before you book. That is information, not a guarantee — rules change, and only the relevant authority can decide whether you may enter.

If you are refused boarding or entry because of missing or incorrect documents, the booking is treated as cancelled by you.

12. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you hold travel insurance covering medical treatment, repatriation and cancellation, for the whole of your trip.

We are not insurance intermediaries. We do not sell policies and we earn nothing from recommending them. Please note in particular that the EHIC and UK GHIC do not provide any cover in Türkiye, as Türkiye is not in the EU or EEA.

13. Health and medical matters

MOC Travel is a travel agency. We do not provide medical services, medical advice or treatment, and we do not quote treatment prices.

Where you are travelling in connection with medical treatment, we arrange the travel around the dates your medical provider gives you. Your relationship regarding the treatment itself is with that provider, not with us, and any medical question should be directed to them.

You are responsible for telling us about any mobility need, dietary requirement or condition that affects the travel arrangements, so that we can plan appropriately.

14. Your behaviour

Suppliers may refuse to carry or accommodate a person whose behaviour endangers or seriously disturbs others. If that happens, the arrangements affected end at that point and no refund is due. You remain responsible for any damage you cause.

15. Our responsibility

We are responsible for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill, and for selecting suppliers with reasonable care.

We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers beyond that duty, nor for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, nor for events described in section 10.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

16. Complaints

While you are travelling: tell us immediately, on WhatsApp or by telephone. Most problems — a room that is not what was booked, a driver who has not arrived — can be fixed within the hour if we know about them. A problem reported after you get home usually cannot be fixed at all.

After you return: write to info@moctravel.com. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and give you a substantive answer within 15 days.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you may take the matter to TÜRSAB (the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies), of which we are a member, or to the competent Turkish consumer arbitration committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or consumer court.

17. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK). Please see our privacy notice, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what rights you have.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul, Türkiye have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

These terms are published in English. If a translation is provided and there is any inconsistency, the English version applies.

Questions about any of this? Ask before you book, not after — info@moctravel.com or +90 533 813 89 77. We would rather explain a clause than argue about it later.
